Our Services Policy
- Mowing
- By approving "weekly in the peak season" your schedule will be set for once a week mowing between the middle of May and the first of October.
- If you choose to be "bi-weekly in the peak season", there will be additional charge of three dollars ($3.00) between the middle of May and the first of October. We do not bag yards on a bi-weekly schedule during the peak season and they will be mowed only on Monday's or Tuesday's, unless approved for a different day with the office manager. There is no guarantee that the lawn will be manicured nor will there be any re-dos.
- You may choose to have your lawn bagged, which holds at least a three dollar ($3.00) fee, if it is a weekly mow at any time of the season or if you have your lawn mowed on a bi- weekly schedule before or after the peak season.
- Yard waste should be picked up by the city in which you reside. If your city does not pick up yard waste, an estimate can be given free of charge to haul.
- Combination locks will be provided at no charge to those customers who require that their gates be locked at all times. If we come to a locked gate, no credit will be given for areas not mowed. Returning to mow an area that we could not mow because the gate was locked may be subject to an extra charge.
- Chemical Programs - Our chemical program is split into two categories: Makit Green and Makit Green Plus. Makit Green is for your lawn and Makit Green Plus is for your landscaping with the additional application of a Grub control treatment.
- All Makit Green and Makit Green Plus programs are scheduled ahead of time and before the service is rendered; you will receive a call the day before.
- Any re-do's scheduled by you at your request or by the technician must be done within two weeks after the previous service
- We offer a pre-payment option by check or by credit card. By pre-paying for the year of service before the second (2nd) round of service, we will waive the sales tax on your account
- Combination Locks will be provided at no charge to you our customer. If we come to a locked gate no credit will be given. If you request that we come back to the yard to reapply application to the missed area because of a locked gate, your account will be subject to an extra charge
- Landscaping - Before any job can be placed on our schedule we require half of the project's value up front. Once you are happy with the job, the second half of the fee must be received.
- Sprinkler Heads - We will fix sprinkler heads we break for free. You just need to let us know, mark the head, and we will do the rest. If you call another company we will pay for the parts but not the labor.
